A little about us:
FINCHLEY HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. Founded in 1940 to promote the interests of gardeners throughout Finchley. With over 70 plots, allotments comprise a mixture of traditional plots and raised beds for the physically disabled and for children from local schools.. The Society has an active program of horticultural events. . Our annual garden visit was held on Sunday 24th June when we visited the the lovely gardens of Hidcote and Kiftsgate.
On August Bank Holiday Monday, 27th August we opened the allotments for the National Garden Scheme. We received over 100 visitors and raised £700 for the various charities supported by the NGS.
We also organised a trip to Wisley on Saturday 8th September.
