The next meeting is at 8pm on September 16 at 8pm at Rathbone Allotments, Ryalls Court, Oakleigh Road North, N20 0RY.

Following normal business, the workshop element will separate into two action groups:
a) Cross-society support to help defuse communication issues before they escalate into disputes (between plotholders or plotholders/ committees). This could perhaps including: building on the February workshop on fostering good relations; having volunteers who are prepared to help mediate on fellow sites, and developing guidance to assist them.
b) Developing more guidance regarding legal/ termination issues, e.g. accessing legal guidance; enforcing evictions; dealing with encroachment
The hope is that these action groups will start to develop some plans that can be of benefit to many sites, plus perhaps taking away one or two follow-up actions. For example these follow-up actions might be
- writing up notes and circulating, for others to contribute to;
- approaching other bodies for input e.g. the National Allotment Association or Barnet Council
