Overview
Childs Hill Allotment Society (CHAS) were successful in their application for £10,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All grant scheme, towards the cost of two fully accessible waterless toilets for their site. The Society was also granted full planning approval for the toilets from LB Barnet. The toilets are due to be installed in late July and will provide a real boost to the Society, both in providing more opportunities for the community to come together for social gatherings, and on a day to day basis by encouraging plot holders to stay on site for longer, knowing there are accessible toilet facilities available to them all year round.
