Over the weekend of 24-25 July, the photos of the plot entries for this year’s competition were taken
by sites’ nominated photographers. We received 16 entries from 7 societies – less than last year.
Due mainly to this year’s mixed weather conditions causing a late start to the growing season, many
would be entrants were not ready to enter their plots competitively. Our seven independent judges
then had the task of scoring the photographic entries and below are details of the first six prizewinning
places for which BAF makes an award.
