On Monday 15th March for the first time our Annual General Meeting was held via Zoom. The AGM also included our scheduled Members meeting. Last year’s Members meetings in July and September were also held via Zoom.
The meeting was well attended with the majority of societies attending. The formal AGM was chaired by Gordon Kerr and covered last year’s minutes, committee reports, accounts and elections. Approvals were received and two new committee candidates were elected unanimously. Report highlights included our new website, plot compliance matters, our role providing reviewers and annual competitions.
The second half of the meeting, chaired by Kirstie Burgin, included a variety of matters put forward by members and a discussion about health and safety on allotment sites.
